For the “Queen Mary 2” a power of combustion engines of 126,870 kW is reported, for the “Oasis of the Seas” 103,000 kW, for the more standard “Carnival Magic” 75,600 kW. The speed of cruise ships generally is around 22 knots, the “Queen Mary 2” with 30 knots being the exception.
